We have incorporated many changes into the way we deliver dental care in order to assure the safety of our patients and our staff. To help your appointment run smoothly, it is important that you read below and become familiar with our policies.
We have made changes to facilitate social distancing while in our buildings. The number of patients normally seen each day is currently reduced. Also, our waiting area is now limited. We ask that you observe social distancing while waiting. Additionally, check in and check out procedures have been modified to limit the time spent at the front desk.
Everyone is asked to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth at all times when not getting treatment.
Please arrive no more than ten minutes prior to your appointment time, and please note that only the patient is allowed in the building. The exception to this rule would be if a caregiver or parent of minor child is present, and then only one additional person other than patient is allowed.
*Close contact (less than 6 feet) for greater than 15 minutes with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or skin to skin contact such as hugging, high fives etc. Anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 in your household in the last 14 days, triggers an “Yes” response because it is assumed that you cannot keep social distancing from those living with you.
While we have always taken great care to continually keep our premises clean and disinfected. We will follow infection control procedures according to national best practices, OSHA, and ADA recommendations. Since the corona virus is spread with aerosols, we have made a few changes to help reduce the amount of aerosols in our building. We have updated our rooms with viral air purifiers and vacuums that we will use during procedures that would create an aerosol.
